Our patients are protected by the rules and Guidance given by THE GENERAL DENTAL COUNCIL

This is the organisation which regulates dental professionals in the United Kingdom. All dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, dental technicians, dental therapists, clinical dental technicians and orthodontic therapists must be registered to work in the UK. Our standards of care, cleanliness and sterilisation are of primary importance to us and to you. Please feel free to ask us about our procedures at any time.

The GDC issue ethical guidance for dentists and dental hygienist as well as the whole dental team who are required to work in an ethical manner and at all times in the patients’ best interest.

This guidance can be found on the websites below they include topics such as -

• Co-operating with other members of the dental team and other healthcare colleagues in the interests of the patients
